Scope
This project focused on improving the football scoreboard on the Event Page by enhancing clarity, usability, and real-time match engagement for users during live games.
Problem
The previous scoreboard was visually outdated and provided limited in-play information. Key match moments weren’t communicated effectively, and users often turned to external sources to access essential stats, creating friction during live betting.
Solution
The new design introduces a cleaner, modern scoreboard with improved hierarchy and legibility. Alongside the visual refresh, the update includes:
In-play stats such as possession, shots on target, and cards
Subtle animations for goals and red cards, designed to highlight important moments without overwhelming the interface
Outcome
The updated scoreboard gives users a faster, more intuitive overview of the game’s momentum, making it easier to quickly understand the situation and make decisions.
