Scope
This project focused on improving the basketball scoreboard on the Event Page by enhancing clarity, usability, and real-time engagement for users during live games.
Problem
The previous basketball scoreboard lacked visual hierarchy and presented limited in-play information. Users struggled to quickly understand game flow and often relied on external sources for essential stats, creating friction during live betting.
Solution
The new design introduces a cleaner, more structured scoreboard layout with enhanced legibility and clearer separation of team information. In addition to the visual refresh, the redesign includes:
Key in-play stats, such as assists, rebounds, and fouls
A focused animation for 3-point scores, helping users instantly identify high-impact moments in the game
Outcome
The updated scoreboard provides users with a faster, more intuitive understanding of game momentum. Integrated stats support quicker decision-making, and the 3-point animation adds a layer of excitement aligned with the fast-paced nature of basketball betting.

The following animation was created to elevate real-time engagement, make high-impact moments, like 3-point shots, instantly recognisable, and maintain a dynamic yet unobtrusive live-game experience.
